Zhu Zhu Toys
If you have a son or daughter over the age of 4, then you may want to know about Zhu Zhu toys. The buzz around them is quickly reaching almost deafening levels… both online and offline. Newspapers, blogs and T.V. shows are all talking about Zhu Zhu toys. And for just reason. They are cheap, incredibly sophisticated, an absolute blast for kids.
So, what exactly are Zhu Zhu toys? They are motorized, battery powered hamsters developed by Cepia, LLC in Missouri. They run, play and drive. They don’t poop, shed hair or die. Sounds like a winner… doesn’t it?
I think so, and I’m not alone. Recently, Toys R’ Us added the Zhu Zhu hamster toys collection to their “2009 Hot Holiday Toys List”. Walmarts and Targets across the nation have been selling out as fast as they get new stock. And the Internet is abuzz with how hard it’s getting to find the beloved, cuddly creatures.
And it’s only going to get worse as we creep up on the holiday season. As more media covers the Zhu Zhu pets and more advertisements run on T.V., kids across the nation are starting to ask (read: demand) to get one of their own. They are quickly becoming the “must have” toy of this year, and are almost guaranteed to sell out come Christmas time.
Moral of the story: If you think your child may want Zoo Zoo toys for Christmas, I highly suggest you look into getting one now. Don’t wait until the last minute… like most of us have a habit of doing, especially when it comes to gifts. This year, waiting to buy Zhu Zhu toys is the surest way to disappoint your kid. And if little Mike across the way DOES have one… well, you can use your imagination.
